Highlights of my 2011-12 Fishing Season

I didn't win the IAC Species Race this season due to a bad choice of joker (Eel) and being comprehensively outfished and coming fifth.

Barbel 12lb 4oz

Barbel 12lb 3oz

I did have a good Barbel year banking 102 Barbel (a new high score) and beating my personal best twice with fish of 12lb 3oz and 12lb 4oz.

Pike 16lb 12oz

I also captured my second biggest Pike at 16lb 12oz on a deadbait intended for Zander, I never did catch a Zander despite a number of attempts at a venue normally prolific for the species.
